CHATEAU CAMPLAZENS LA CLAPE RESERVE 2000

A rich fruity red from the La Clape area of Languedoc in the South of France.  The La Reserve is a well balanced Syrah based red, with flavours of red plums, crushed fruits, spicy notes, soft tannins, and hints of fresh herbs. This complex, medium to full bodied wine is an excellent compliment to light meats such as veil, lamb and game birds.

The 2000 is drinking very well already, very soft and smooth, but it has the potential to continue to develop and mature for the next two to three years.
