Our Buckie reaches parts other Buckies can't reach!

At the end of our wine course in Melbourne in January 2008, there was the traditional BYOB party, when students bring wines which they want to show off to other students. Usually, these are either very rare or very old wines. We introduced our Australian, and world-wine, colleagues to the joys of Buckfast:

As you can see, it went down a treat with our fellow students (especially with a certain journalist who shall remain anonymous)!

However, that was not the end of our bottle's travels. We took it with us on our journey through Australia, when it had the opportunity to visit some very familiar places. First of all, though, was the breakfast stop in Wangaratta, when we treated ourselves to some Buckie with our cold, left-over pizza from the night before. Delicous!
